What is your coupon policy?
Do you double coupons? We accept manufacturer coupons and our own store coupons. We do not accept internet coupons or take part in double coupons. We do not double coupons because we try to give our customers the best everyday price possible without using coupons.
Do you have a Gluten Free Section?
We acknowledge the growing need for gluten free foods, however, our product availability varies by store. Please check at your local Best Yet to see what products are and can be made for you at that location. Suggestions are always welcomed.
Why are your stores cold?
Because of the nature of the products sold and our value to provide you with the freshest product, our stores are kept slightly colder than the norm to keep our products at its best.
Can you get more organic produce? Although it is not possible for us to carry every produce item, we make every effort to carry those products that are most in demand. Over time shoppers' needs change and new products are constantly introduced to meet those needs. For product availability at a particular store, it is best to e-mail the store directly.
How do I receive your circular?
Contact your Store Team Leader and provide them with your current address. If you are located in a specific zip, you may be able to receive it through our Newsday distribution immediately and if you aren't currently, we can research the problem. If your address doesn't fall within a zip code that receives our flyer then you can be added to our mailing list. Please be advised that this list is updated quarterly and therefore it may take some time from when you filled out the request until you receive the flyer.
How do I return an item?
As we do not have a courtesy desk for returns, all of our team members are experienced to help our customers with whatever questions or concerns that they have, which means that you can go to any team member. If they are unable to assist you, they will get someone to help you.
How long is a rain check good for and what is the limit?
Rain checks are good for 30 days. There is a limit of 3 items per rain checks or 3 offers. "Offers" means, for example, if the sale is 2 for $1.00 you are entitled to 3 offers, which would be 6 items.
What is the store phone #?
The store phone number appears in our weekly flyer, the Store Locations page, and at the bottom of your receipt.
Who is the manager?
Each store has its own manager. Please click here to find the manager of your local store.
What is your return policy?
Where is it posted? Customer Satisfaction is our guarantee.
Do you deliver?
We only offer delivery service in our Astoria location at this time. If you are interested in local delivery, please contact your Store Team Leader and inform them of your interest. In the event that we are able to expand and venture into this area, having that information will be resourceful.
Why does the staff change?
We are always trying to improve our stores and your shopping experience as a customer. One of the ways we find successful is to bring the strengths of each of our Team Members around to a different location from time to time.
Do you have organization discounts?
How do I go about getting one? Best Yet Market does work with local organizations and in some cases offers those groups a discount. Any organization that would like to be considered should contact the main office.
Do you take holiday orders?
Yes we do. Your orders can be placed ahead of time at the store. Please contact the Store Team Leader to put in your request.
Do you do donation requests?
We are pleased to give back to the communities we serve. All requests must be made in writing on your organizations letterhead along with proof of your 501c3 status to the following address:
Best Yet Market
1 Lexington Ave.
Bethpage NY, 11714
Please be very specific in writing to us as we receive many donation requests. Once we receive follow-up correspondence from an organization, it takes us approximately 3 weeks to respond. Please plan appropriately if you have an upcoming event.
When do your sales start and end?
Our sales run from Friday to Thursday. Our circular is available online here on Thursday.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Cash, Checks, ATM cards/Check Cards, Credit Cards (Amex, MC, Visa, Discover), electronic benefit cards, and WIC.
Do you have store tours for children?
We are very excited to expose the young members of our community to all that a supermarket has to offer and to educate them on how to eat healthy. We are in the process of setting up such tours through local elementary schools. If you are interested to arrange a tour for your classroom, scout, or community group, just contact your local Best Yet Market and speak with the Store Team Leader.
What are you doing about the environment?
We have installed brand new T5 ultra efficient lighting in all our stores. These new lighting fixtures run more efficiently and save a lot more energy. In addition to these energy saving procedures, we have redesigned our refrigeration systems to run more efficiently. All these improvements save energy. Please read the next answer to discover how we have gone green with the bags in our stores.
Do you offer paper bags?
No, we are excited to offer our customers reusable "Go Green" bags. These bags are durable and a low cost alternative to regular plastic bags. They are easy to carry and pack 4 times the amount of groceries as regular old bags. We all participate in a recycling program. Grocery shoppers use nearly 100 billion plastic bags annually. Most are only used once and then either recycled or thrown away. Although the concept of reusing bags is not new, our bag reduction and recycling program sheds new light and enthusiasm to encourage bag reuse.
